Day 4 | Quebec City
Overnight - 5 pm. Upon entering this provincial Canadian capital, visitors will think they've arrived in medieval Europe. The Lower Town lines the shore of the St. Lawrence River, while in the Upper Town, stone houses front cobblestone streets. The often-photographed Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac hotel overlooks the city from its high perch. Stops on sightseeing excursions include Petit Champlain, the oldest street in North America; Dufferin Terrace, with its superb views of the St. Lawrence River; the Citadel, built in 1820; and Montmorency Falls.
Day 5 | Fun Day at Sea
Day 6 | Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island
8 am – 6 pm. Charlottetown is the capital city of Canada's smallest province, Prince Edward Island. This farming island is best known as the setting of "Anne of Green Gables," the famous 1908 novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Walking tours visit the 19th-century homes, and scenic drives pass through the island's fishing villages. Other major attractions include the House of Green Gables, Prince Edward Island National Park and the shipbuilding museum near Port Hill.
Day 7 | Sydney, Nova Scotia
7 am – 3:30 pm. Nova Scotia means New Scotland, and the sound of bagpipes is not uncommon here. Early Scottish settlers felt the land resembled home. The most popular excursion is a trip to the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Park, an amazing re-creation of a 1744 French fortress. Bird-watchers will want to venture out to Bird Islands to spot the Atlantic puffin and bald eagle. The sinuous Cabot Trail along the coast offers one of the most dramatic drives in North America.
Day 8 | Halifax, Nova Scotia
7 am – 4 pm. This city's seafaring roots run deep. Displays at the Maritime Museum include models of vessels and a Titanic exhibit. Excursions visit the Citadel National Historic Park, the Nova Scotia Museum, St. Paul's Anglican Church and the Historic Properties. Many tourists make the short trip to the Bay of Fundy or Peggy's Cove.
Day 9 | Saint John, New Brunswick
10 am – 7 pm. Saint John is located in the southern portion of this Canadian coastal province, where the Saint John River meets the Bay of Fundy. Historically, the city has been a hub of commercial port activity, and attractions like Old City Market, Market Square and an abundance of museums pay tribute to that tradition. The outstanding New Brunswick Museum is the oldest continuously operating museum in Canada. Rockwood Park, in the heart of the city, houses a zoo, a golf course, freshwater lakes and hiking trails. Look for the famous Reversing Falls, a phenomenon caused by the enormous rise and fall of the tides in the Bay of Fundy.
Day 10 | Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park, Maine
7 am – 7 pm. Bar Harbor sits on Mount Desert Island, just off the rugged coast of Maine. It is surrounded by Acadia National Park, where beaches, forests and granite cliffs makeup some of the country's most beautiful scenery. Visitors can cruise Frenchman's Bay, join a whale-watching adventure or enjoy a New England lobster bake. In town, there are shops, museums and art galleries to explore.
Day 11 | Portland, Maine
7 am – 6 pm. Portland offers eclectic sights and soothing sounds. It has all the amenities of the big city, including an active arts district, museums, a vital waterfront and diverse shopping opportunities. Or explore the cozier side of Maine life with a walk through the woods, a canoe ride or skiing on some of the best mountains in New England.
Day 12 | Boston
7 am – 5 pm. History lies around every corner of this Massachusetts city, which was founded in 1630. Boston is best explored on foot; follow the three-mile Freedom Trail for a sampling of its most notable landmarks. The marked trail leads to 16 historic sites such as the Old North Church, the Paul Revere House and Faneuil Hall. At the trail's end, you can visit the USS Constitution, also known as "Old Ironsides." It's the oldest commissioned warship in the U.S. Navy. Other options: Visit one of Boston's extraordinary museums; explore Cambridge, home to Harvard (it's just across the Charles River); or stop by the Bull & Finch Pub -- it inspired the TV show "Cheers."
Day 13 | Fun Day at Sea
Day 14 | Fun Day at Sea
Day 15 | Port Canaveral / Orlando, Florida
7 am – 7 pm. Port Canaveral, FL is about an hour's drive east of Orlando, two hours from Tampa and two and a half hours from Jacksonville. Tallahassee is just under five hours to the north. Port Canaveral is the closest city to Disney World and the other theme parks in Orlando, and is next to Cape Canaveral Kennedy Space Center. A wide variety of activities are available near the port, including several miles of beaches and parks, boating, fishing, shopping and several restaurants.
Day 16 | Arrive Ft. Lauderdale / Transfer to airport & fly home / Transfer to Florida cities
This morning you arrive at the Ft Lauderdale pier. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight home with many wonderful memories of your trip to Canada to Florida.
